Backpack Ministry For the month of March, our church is concentrating on collecting donations of Chicken Noodle Soup. Please place donations in the totes at the church entrances.

Annie Armstrong We will have our annual Walk to the Cross this morning. Our goal this year is $3,000 in support of the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North America Missions.

XYZ’S The XYZ’s will meet on Monday, March 24 at 12:00 pm for a covered dish luncheon. Betsy Summerfield will present the program on her recent trip to Easter Island.

Gethsemane Cares We will be delivering meals on Thursday, March 27 to our shut-ins. If you would like to help with delivering the meals, please be at the church by 5:00 pm.

BWOM The Baptist Women on Mission will meet at the church on Wednesday, April 2 at 1:00 pm.

Concealed Carry Class The Tazewell County Sheriff’s office will be hosting a Concealed Weapons Class at Gethsemane Baptist Church for the citizens of Tazewell County on Saturday, April 5 at 8:30 am. Please contact Lieutenant James Crigger at 276-988-1151 to enroll for this FREE class.

Ladies Bible Study Class We will be having a Ladies’ Bible Study Class, “The God Who Cares and Knows You” by Kay Arthur which covers the Gospel of John. Classes will begin on Wednesday, April 9 at 10:00 am and will run for 13 weeks. If interested, please see Judith Edgell or sign up on the sheet posted on the bulletin board outside the church office.
