Guest Speaker – Welcome Don and Teena Paxton from the SBC of Virginia. We are so excited to have Don Paxton as our guest speaker this morning.

Witnessing Dolls – All ladies interested in working on the witnessing dolls will meet Wednesday, May 25th from 11:00 am -3:00 pm.

Gethsemane Cares  Gethsemane Cares is a visitation ministry that provides a hot meal and some warm fellowship to our shut-ins. We would love to have you join us at 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 26th, to help deliver the meals.

Men’s Prayer – The men of Gethsemane will meet on Saturday, May 28th at 9:00 am to pray for our church, our community, and our world. All men are welcome.

BWOM – The Baptist Women on Mission will meet at 1:00 pm at the church on Wednesday, June 1st.

Special Called Business Meeting – There will be a special called business meeting on Sunday, June 5th, in the fellowship hall immediately after the morning service. There will be a discussion about the TV for the fellowship hall.

Celebrating Our Graduates – We will be presenting our Graduating Seniors with gift bags during our morning service on Sunday, June 5th. The bags are in the hallway outside of the church office.

Please help us fill these bags with gifts and cards of encouragement and celebration.

Volunteers Needed – VBS 2022 “Concrete and Cranes” will be July 11th—15th from 5:30 pm—8:30 pm for all ages from nursery to adults. If you would like to volunteer, contact Chris Blankenship at 276-701-2196.

Nomination Committee Nomination/Survey Forms and Deacon Nomination Forms –  Nomination/survey and deacon nomination forms are on the tables at the entrances. Nomination/Survey forms need to be completed and returned by May 29th. Deacon Nomination forms need to be returned by June 5th.

There are baskets at the church exits for completed forms. If you are nominating someone to serve, please be sure you have their permission.

Thank You – The Brotherhood would like to thank all who participated and worked at our fishing trip to Brumley Cove Baptist Camp. We had about 60 people attend, and everyone seemed to have a good time.
